Booking and payment information, messages, reviews, and technical data such as device and usage logs. If you use Cars near me, your location is used only to find nearby branches.

To create and secure your account, process bookings and payments, verify renters, drivers and vehicles, send booking notifications, provide customer support, prevent fraud and improve the service.

When you book, the car's owner sees the details they need to complete the rental, such as your name, contact details and verification documents. Owners' public listing details are visible to renters.

Documents are stored privately; only you, the relevant owner where required, and our review team can open them. We do not sell your personal information.

Data is stored with access controls so users can only reach their own records. We use encrypted connections and keep information only as long as needed for the service and for legal and accounting obligations.

You can update your profile and documents at any time, ask us to correct or delete your information, and change your language and notification preferences. Some records, such as completed bookings and invoices, may need to be kept for legal reasons.
